Public Housing was established to provide decent and safe rental housing for eligible low-income families, elderly, and persons with disabilities. Public Housing in Watertown consists of 25 scattered family sites and the Hi-Rise Apartments designed for elderly and persons with disabilities.
Applicants will be required to provide previous landlord references. Criminal background checks will be completed on all applicants.
The rent is based on 30% of the applicant/participant’s adjusted monthly income or 10% of the applicant/participant’s unadjusted income, whichever is greater.
